TOP CLUB 2025 COMPETITION

Today, 24.5.25 was the first round of the Top Club competition. We played away at Flitwick. The format of the competition is 4 games, Singles, Doubles, Triples and Rinks. The green was very heavy after some much needed overnight rain. Many of the leads struggled to get the jack over the 23m distance and the Umpire was kept busy with his measuring tape.

We unfortunately lost two of the games, rinks and triples but overall we were 9 points ahead, so well done ladies. A great result.

Flitwick were very hospitable and laid on a good spread for after the game. All in all a very enjoyable day. It was just unfortunate that Carol hurt her back struggling with the length and we hope she recovers quickly. Fortunately we had taken a reserve so she carried on where Carol left off!

Next round is on 14th June at home to Potten
