GENTS V LADIES (FRIENDLY!) GAME

Saturday 19th April saw the first game of the season. Following a long winter it was great to get out onto the green again. The sun shone, well some of the time and there was no rain so perfect for us. We were all a little rusty as the rinks were only opened the previous weekend, nevertheless there was some good bowling. The Gents were delighted to be the overall winners so its up to the Ladies to hone their skills and come back fighting for the return match at the end of the season. It was a really enjoyable day and we all look forward to the season ahead. Can you tell this is written by a lady?!!
