FINALS WEEKEND - 6TH & 7TH SEPTEMBER 2025 & PRESENTATION OF PRIZES - 20TH SEPTEMBER 2025

 

It was that time of the year again when all those players who had successfully beaten their opposition come together for the final game. There was a great turn out from club members who were treated to watching some very good competitive games. Fortunately the weather was warm and sunny, but not too hot and the green was, believe it or not actually green. This was following the flood experienced earlier in the week. What perfect timing, everything coming together for a perfect weekend.

The presentation of the prizes was given following our annual President's v Captain's Competition. This was a fun competition and proved quite close with the Captain’s team winning by a short margin. The Finals Prizes were then awarded following which we were able to eat drink and be merry (well the drinking had started a lot earlier!). We had all brought some buffet food and there was enough to feed an army. A big thank you to those who donated.
